Live Arts 2012

The 2012 Live Arts Festival took place at William Brookes School in Much Wenlock on

DANCE: Sun 11th March
MUSIC (Secondary): Wed 14th and Fri 16th March
CREATIVE WRITING: Sat 17th March
MUSIC (Primary): Sat 17th March

Congratulations to all competitors – standards were very high and performances were enjoyed by all those who attended.

The Live Arts Festival has taken place each year since 1979. Competitions were held in the performing arts as part of the original Olympic Games. The Festival involves children and young people from Shropshire and has recently welcomed competitors from further afield.

The Festival is held in March each year at William Brookes School in Much Wenlock. There are competitive classes in dance, music and creative writing for children and young people aged 18 and under.

The Festival is organised and staffed entirely by volunteers. If you are interested in joining the committee or can offer any help on the days of the Festival, please do not hesitate to contact us via wenlocklivearts@gmail.com
